Exmouth, Western
Australia. A unique location where the rugged beauty of
the West Australian outback meets the spectacular Ningaloo
Reef.
The
pristine coral waters off the north west of Australia
offer some of the world's most sort after game and bottom
fishing species. The region is also very well known for
the world class diving and snorkeling.
With the warm tropical currents and the continental shelf
only 5km from the coastline the waters surrounding Exmouth
are bursting with marine life, no wonder more than 50 salt
water fishing records are held in the region.
Exmouth
offers some of the best game fishing in the world. The
North West Cape is the nearest point in Australia to
the continental shelf, which accounts for the abundance
of Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Spanish
Mackerel and Yellowfin Tuna. These are just a few species
which assures the angler the promise of screaming reels
and the ultimate adrenalin rush.
The
coral reef, island formations and deep ocean canyons
provide excellent exciting bottom fishing opportunities.
Snapper, Spangled Emperor, Coral Trout and Sea Bream are
just some of the species that inhabit the area. All of
which are fantastic table fish.
